Colloid mill for fine grinding, homogenizing and emulsifying liquid products, pastes and suspensions. A conical rotor and stator shear the product in a narrow adjustable gap, giving stable emulsions and suspensions down to a few micrometres.

Throughput depends on the gap setting, the product viscosity and the rotor speed. The mill handles products from low-viscosity liquids to thick pastes, and can be supplied with a hopper, a recirculation loop or as part of a closed process line.
